Ashley started working at Northside through an on-the-job training program from the Branch Area Career Center in 2001. After graduating from Quincy High School in 2002, she began working full time. She lives in Quincy with her fiancé and two boys. Ashley has three dogs, Deegan, Hutch and Gabe. She enjoys spending time with her family, doing outdoor activities, crafting and scrapbooking.
Betsy has been with Northside since 2005. She has her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in community counseling from Siena Heights University. Betsy is passionate about helping animals. She teaches both puppy classes and canine behavioral classes at Northside. In addition, she does behavioral evaluations at the Greater Hillsdale Humane Society. Betsy has five dogs, Monty, Stewie, Ducky, Levi and Betty as well as two cats, Etsie and Emmy. In her spare time she likes hiking with her dogs, camping and spending time with her husband, Dustin and doing volunteer work.
Eve started working at Northside in 2017 and lives in Hudson with her husband and two little boys. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Siena Heights University and after college worked as a zookeeper in Arkansas and Texas. She has been working as a veterinary assistant for four years. Eve enjoys camping in the U.P., family time, off roading and photography. She has a dog Dave; a cat Sprouty; and two guinea pigs, Oreo and Browni.
Sam started working at Northside in April 2018 and is from the Hillsdale area. She is married and mom to a son and a daughter. Sam enjoys spending time with her family doing outdoor activities. She has two dogs, Pogo and Polly and two horses Casey and Rosie.
Brooke started working at Northside at the beginning of 2019. She graduated from Jonesville High School in 2015. In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her dog Gemma and her boyfriend.
Marissa started working at Northside in June 2020 and is a graduate of Homer Schools. She has one dog, Jaxon, and two cats, Jasper and Peanut. She enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities. Marissa loves working at Northside as she can help animals and truly see a difference after caring for them.
Jenna grew up in Hillsdale and has been involved with Northside Veterinary her entire life. She graduated from Hillsdale High School in 2016, and Butler University in 2020 with a degree in strategic communications and minor in video production. She currently has five cats; Digit, Mickey, Pogo, Moogie and Iffy and two horses Miss Misty Mountain and Titan.
Amanda started working at Northside Veterinary Hospital in April of 2017. She is the mother of two amazing children and enjoys spending as much time with them as she can. Although Amanda grew up in Hillsdale county, she has also lived in Florida and California, but has always thought of Hillsdale county as her home. Her favorite thing about working at Northside Veterinary Hospital is seeing the wide variety of pets that come through the door each day and getting to learn more and more about everyone’s individual story each time she sees them.
Kayela joined Northside in 2020. Her hobbies are CrossFit and spending time with her five kids. She has two dogs; Luna and Zero, a cat O'Malley and five rabbits. Her kids now have two horses they recently 'stole' from their Aunt, Dancer and Sugar.
Debbie has been with Northside since 2010. She is married and has a son. She enjoys camping, swimming, kayaking and spending time with her family. She has a dog Miley and a cat, Olivia.
Katie is a junior in college majoring in exercise science/pre-physical therapy. She loves working with animals and has a black lab named Amelia.
Abby is attending Michigan State University and majoring in pre-veterinary studies. In her spare time she likes to play volleyball, basketball and soccer with her friends. In addition, she likes to play with her five cats: Sky, Star, Wizzy, Lily and Skittles. Abby also has three dogs: Aspen a Newfoundland, Dakota, a boxer/lab mix and Minnie a golden retriever.
Mable has been a resident of Northside since June of 2014. She can usually be found outside patrolling her territory. Hobbies include hunting and killing unsuspecting prey.
Scuttle has come to Northside from a private residence. He had very limited territory at his previous home and is making up for lost time. He is commonly seen both inside and out. One must always check your vehicle for a stray orange cat, as he has been known to climb through windows and sunroofs to explore. He is very curious and affectionate.
Birdie Jo has been a resident of Northside since 2010. Even though she has grown up surrounded by people, she still has an affinity for only a few. She looks beautiful perched on the reception counter, but do not let her looks fool you. She can be very feisty and she is better to be admired from afar.
Buddy is the newest of the Northside cats. He was a stray that was brought in with a broken back leg. Unfortunately he had been shot and the bullet caused significant damage that could not be fixed, so the leg had to be amputated. Buddy is a very friendly cat and thoroughly enjoys being fed and played with.
